Sharing a clip

Any clip can be shared with a public link that needs no account to open.

Create a share link

On a clip's detail page, turn on sharing. You get a link at /s/<token>. Anyone with the link can watch the clip, read its transcript and summary, and leave comments pinned to a moment, no account needed. The page works as soon as the clip is playable: if processing is still running, the video plays right away and the transcript and summary appear when they finish. Turn sharing off at any time to revoke the link.

Link previews

When you paste a share link into a chat, it unfurls with a preview image, title, and summary. Inline video playback works in Discord, X, and iMessage. Slack shows the preview image rather than an inline player.

Markdown

A shared clip is also available as plain text. Add .md to the share link, or use View as Markdown on the page. See Exporting as Markdown.
