Capture
- Nothing happens when I click Record or Screenshot. You're probably on a
chrome://page, an extension page, or the Chrome Web Store, where Chrome blocks capture. Switch to a normal website. - My recording has no microphone audio. Mic access may be denied, or another app is holding the mic. Grant mic permission to Chrome, close other apps using it, and start again. Audio playing in the tab is still captured regardless.
The extension
- The "Developer mode" banner on
chrome://extensions. Expected while the extension is loaded unpacked. Harmless. - A "may have been corrupted" warning after restarting Chrome. Dismiss it.
- The extension can't reach my account. Re-check the API token in the extension's Settings, and mint a fresh one at /settings/tokens if needed.
Clips
- A clip failed to process. Open it and click Retry. See What happens after you capture.
- I hit "20 / 20 free clips". That's the Free plan's lifetime cap, and deletions don't refund it. Upgrade to Pro from the extension or /settings/billing. See Plans & billing.
